Delivery information
Please allow extra time for your subscription copy/single issue purchases to arrive after bank holidays, particularly around Christmas and New Year.
In the event of extremely bad weather please check out the Royal Mail website for service updates local to where you live.
When can I expect my delivery?
For single and special issue orders
UK: Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery
Europe: Please allow up to 8 working days for delivery
Australia and NZ: Please allow up to 40 working days for delivery
US and International: Please allow up to 20 working days for delivery
Pre-order delivery information
All items will be dispatched on the specified release date, which is usually the UK on-sale date. All pre-orders are sent via our standard delivery service. After the release date, please refer to the waiting time for single and special issues.
Please be aware that occasional unforeseen delays during production may mean we are unable to guarantee a specific date of delivery, but we’ll do our best to keep you informed of any delays.

Your first issue
All subscriptions start by default with the next available issue, which is not yet published at the time of purchase.
Maximum wait times for your first issue to arrive:
UK: allow up to 10 weeks
Europe: allow up to 11 weeks
International: allow up to 16 weeks
The speed of delivery outside the UK can vary and will depend on the service provided by the various organisations used during transportation.
Your subsequent issues
After you’ve received your first issue, you can expect to receive your subsequent magazines on or around the UK on sale date. Should copies not arrive by this date, we kindly request that subscribers wait the following time before contacting us for a replacement:
UK: 5 working days after on sale date
Europe: 8 working days after on sale date
Australia and NZ: 40 working days after on sale date
US and International: 20 working days after on sale date
Please only contact customer services if you are still waiting for your magazine outside of the delivery guidelines above.
Christmas Gifts
On the run up to Christmas, you can choose to start with an issue that has not yet been published. This is particularly helpful when purchasing a subscription as a gift as the recipient won’t receive the magazine until after the event so that the surprise isn’t spoilt!
What can I do if I do not receive an issue on time?

If you are waiting for your delivery outside of these timeframes then please contact us. Remember to include your subscriber reference number or full mailing address.
UK Customers can access the latest information about delivery service disruption in their local area at www.royalmail.com/serviceupdates. Mailing outside of the UK can be unpredictable and delays can be frequent.
Are delivery costs included?
Yes, delivery is included in the price for all subscriptions, single issues and specials. The prices you see are the prices you pay, we do not add additional delivery costs during the checkout.
Can I order a subscription for delivery to an address outside the UK?
Yes, we deliver worldwide. All magazines are printed and mailed from the UK, therefore the overall subscription cost might be higher to account for overseas mailing costs. To see the price for overseas subscriptions, simply select your delivery region to reveal the local subscription price. All prices displayed include all packing, delivery and taxes where applicable.
Do I have to sign for the delivery of my magazine?
No, your magazine will be sent through the post as normal.

How do I notify you about a change of address?
Changing your address is easy. Simply log in to your account to update your delivery and/or billing details. Please note, if you are relocating to another country then please contact us and we will be happy to assist.

How do I renew my subscription?
You can renew your subscription online at any time. Simply log in to your account here.
How can I view a receipt or invoice that I have requested?
You can view and download any invoices or receipts relating to your orders online. Simply log in to your account here and click on My Documents tab.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us. You will continue to receive the issues you have paid for until the end of your subscription term. Direct Debit and Continuous Credit Card orders will auto-renew at the end of the current terms unless cancelled. Returns not accepted.
Did you know you can change your magazine at any time during your subscription?
If for any reason, the magazine you subscribe to is not suitable for you, you can switch your subscription to any other magazine available on shop.anthem.co.uk/subscribe.

Price match promise
We guarantee that you won’t find a better price for Anthem Publishing’s magazines anywhere else online. However, in the very unlikely event that you do find a better price, we’ll refund you the difference. Just contact us with evidence of the better offer to start your refund claim.
Is the online payment system secure?
Yes. We use SSL encryption software to ensure the details of your order and credit card, debit card and bank account information is secure.
How will my subscription be confirmed?
If you subscribe online, you will receive an email confirmation of your order immediately. You will also receive an email or letter containing important subscription information including your first issue and when it will arrive.
Buying a subscription for someone else
Magazine subscriptions make the ideal gift for just about anybody. To give a magazine subscription as a gift simply add it to your basket and provide us with the intended recipient’s delivery details. When we send you an order confirmation via email or post it will include a digital gift card to print out and give to your recipient.
Promotional and free gift offers
If applicable, your free gift will be sent once your payment has been taken. This is usually within 28 days of your order being placed. Your free gift will be sent separately from the magazine, and you might receive your magazine first in some cases. All gift offers are subject to availability and if stocks run out, an alternative gift may be supplied. This limited offer may be withdrawn at any time. If your subscription has been purchased by someone else, the free gift will be sent to the payer.
Subscription trial offers
Trial offers are no obligation Direct Debit or continuous card payment offers. If you wish to cancel your trial subscription, please contact us. Please note, trial subscription offers are limited to one trial per magazine per customer within a 12-month period. Anthem reserve the right to withdraw a limited offer at any time.
What is included in the price?
The prices displayed on the site include delivery costs and taxes (where applicable). Any discounts to the normal magazine cover price will also be explained.
What is a continuous card payment?
Customers sometimes have the option to subscribe by continuous credit card payments (also known as Continuous Payment Authority). Depending on the magazine, your payments will be spread into easy, manageable 3, 6 or 12 payments per year. As continuous payment authority is a recurring payment method you are in complete control of your subscription. If your credit card expires, though, you will need to update us with your new credit card information so that your subscription continues uninterrupted.
Benefits of paying by Direct Debit
UK customers have the option to subscribe by Direct Debit. Depending on the magazine, your payments will be spread into easy, manageable 3, 6 or 12 payments per year. As Direct Debit is a recurring payment method you are in complete control of your subscription as well as eliminating the need for renewing your subscription. You are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.

As a company we are conscious of the environment, and we know that our readers are too, therefore we are thrilled to be able to use paper wrap instead of poly wrap to support our planet and our environment. As a sustainable source, we are happy to reassure you that the paper wrap your magazine comes in is 100% recyclable and fully accepted by waste systems with all Councils providing kerbside collections (UK). Anthem will be eliminating 250,000 thousand plastic wraps from our subscriptions mailing a year as a result of this change!
The paper we use for Vintage Rock is from forests managed by The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) which promotes environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world's forests. Find out more here: https://www.fsc-uk.org/en-uk

Complaints procedure
We hope you are entirely happy with your purchase but should you have a problem that has not been resolved to your satisfaction, we have not delivered to the standard of service you expect, or if we make a mistake, please contact us. We will investigate the situation and set about putting it right as quickly as possible, and where appropriate, we will take steps to avoid making similar mistakes in the future.
